END OF UNIPOLAR WORLD AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN TERMS OF LAND RELATED PROBLEMS 10.36172/EKONOMISTI.2024.XX.04.TETRAULI Expanded Summary The work discusses issues related to the transformation of the world order. The spheres of influence are being redistributed in the world. Such challenges as global warming, desertification, etc., to which were added dangerous events: pandemic, war. The existence of a unipolar world is over, the world is at a standstill, there is a desacralization of values. The essence, importance and threats of land as a unique natural resource are analyzed against the background of this new geopolitical situation. Due to permanent anthropogenic impact, millions of hectares of fertile land are lost every year in the world. The world is on the path to ecological disaster. Preventive measures to avoid earth-related hazards are covered. The potential of Georgia's agrarian field has been studied. Georgia has naturally fertile lands, which allows us to become a country producing bioproducts. Our country is almost completely dependent on wheat imports (97%). The task of the state is to provide stimulation of local grain production, universal inventory. The paper discusses such dangerous events related to land as landslides (1.5 million ha), landslides (2 million ha). They caused many tragedies in the country (eco-migrants). The work describes foreign experience in the agricultural field. For example, the phenomenon of Israel's "kibbutzim". It would be useful for Georgia to develop and implement a pilot program of the Georgian model of kibbutzim. This initiative was supported by our great scientist, Professor T. Chkheidze. Factors affecting land resources are complex in nature. The European Union in the world, unlike the European Union, which has a well-regulated agricultural policy, in our country, the agricultural sector was considered unprofitable, although this policy has been changed today. Our land requires a lot of care and attention, for which it is necessary to take protective preventive measures. Key words: soil erosion, sustainable development, "kibbutzim", desacralization, landslide. |
