She began her career as an engineer at the Soviet-wide Research and Design Institute, Kazakh branch of "Energosetproekt". She worked as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of "Electric Networks and Systems" at the Almaty Energy Institute. She was the Deputy Head of the Department of Electricity and Solid Fuels of the Ministry of Energy and Trade. She also served as the Deputy Chief Dispatcher for KEGOC, Akmola Regional Dispatch Center, Director of the Commercial Department of KOREM OJSC (Kazakhstan Electricity and Power Market Operator).

She was born on February 9, 1947. In 1952 she graduated from the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute with a degree in electrical network engineer. is the author of more than 25 scientific and methodological works.

The spheres of her scientific activity are systemic issues of energy systems.
