Professor and the Head of Macroeconomic Department (from 2006) at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He graduated from Tbilisi State University with a degree in economics (1996) and completed Postgraduate studies at Paata Gugushvili Economic Institute of Georgian Academy of Science; he defended with honours a thesis - “Macroeconomic Policy Formation in the conditions of Post-Communism Transformation (example of Georgia)” in 2002. From 1999, Professor Khaduri is a lecturer at Tbilisi State University. On various occasions, he delivered lectures at Caucasus University, Grigol Robakidze University, University of Social Sciences of Georgia, and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. He is an author of over 100 scientific works published in Georgia, USA, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Sweden, Russia, and Hungary. Besides scientific activities, Nodar Khaduri actively participates in formation and implementation of economic policy. From December of 2016 he is the Chairman of Competition Agency of Georgia, before he worked as a Minister of Finance of Georgia (2012-2016), a Member of Parliament (2012), Deputy Minister of Finance, and a national expert of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). He held various positions at the Ministries of Economy and Finance of Georgia, and worked as a Head of the Staff Office of the Committee on Taxes and Revenues of the Parliament of Georgia.
