Confrontational Globalization and Global Supply Chain Disruptions: Macroeconomic Aspect DOI kodi: 10.52340/ekonomisti.2026.02.04 Expanded Summary In the conditions of increasing confrontational globalization, geoeconomic fragmentation and growth of global uncertainty, the problem of sustainability of global supply chains acquires a key importance for the world economy. Pandemic COVID-19, energy crises, geopolitical conflicts, sanctions restrictions and transformation of international economic relations significantly increased the vulnerability of global production and logistics systems and increased macroeconomic risks for national economies. In this article, macroeconomic systemic determinants of failures of global supply chains and their influence on economic growth in the conditions of global challenges are investigated. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the role of human capital, debt factor, green economy and state regulation in ensuring the resilience of economic systems to supply chain disruptions. In the article, human capital is considered not only as a factor of economic growth, but also as a strategic element of adaptation and resilience of national economies in the conditions of global instability and structural transformation of the world economy. The methodological basis of the research is based on conceptual, systemic and interdisciplinary approaches, including comparative macroeconomic analysis, conceptual modeling and analytical interpretation of global economic transformations. In the article, disruptions of global supply chains are interpreted as a systemic macroeconomic phenomenon closely related to confrontational globalization and the new architecture of the world economy. The results of research show that the growth of macroeconomic instability and disruptions of global supply chains negatively affects economic growth, while the development of human capital, green economy and effective state regulation contributes to increasing the economy\\\\'s resilience to external shocks. The study showed that in the context of confrontational globalization, the sustainability of national economies increasingly depends on how effectively they can adapt to disruptions in global supply chains. These processes are related to strengthening human capital, improving institutional systems, maintaining macroeconomic stability, and shaping an economic development model based on strategic priorities. The study\\\\'s results can be used to develop mechanisms for enhancing macroeconomic resilience, improve human capital development policies, formulate green transformation strategies, and adapt national economies to growing global uncertainty.
