Azar Amirov Azad is a PhD candidate in Economic Theory at the Institute of Economics, Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He holds an MSc in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School (University of Manchester) and a BSc in Economics from Bahçeşehir University, where he graduated as the top-ranked student. He currently works as a Leading Investment Analyst at the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund and is a CFA Level II candidate. His research examines innovation finance, capital misallocation, productivity, and the effects of geoeconomic fragmentation on global investment flows.
