He was born on March 17, 1953. He graduated from Tbilisi State University, majoring in economic cybernetics. He has published more than 120 scientific works (both in Georgia and abroad), including three self-authored and five collective monographs, as well as auxiliary manuals and three brochures. The fields of scientific activity are institutional economics, macroeconomics, econometrics, green economy, and innovative entrepreneurial policy.
