Doctor of Economics, Professor. Head of the "Financial Accounting" Chair of ASUЕ (from 2022). Executive Director of "Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia" NGO (from 2021), since 2001, he worked at the financial accounting department of Yerevan State University (YSU). In 2007, he received the title of associate professor, and in 2008-2022 worked as the Head of Financial Accounting Chair of YSU. 2009-2021 he managed the training center of the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Armenia. In 2012, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "The ways of solving the problems of the development of audit activity in the Republic of Armenia" and received the scientific degree of Doctor of Economics. He received the title of professor in 2017.
He is the author of 60 scientific articles and educational manuals.
